Delta waves are the slowest but highest-energy brainwaves. They dominate the brain when we are in the deepest, dreamless sleep. In this delta state, the body ramps up its "maintenance program": it releases growth hormones, supports cellular recovery processes, and the brain's natural cleansing systems become active.
Many users report that listening to delta frequencies promotes deep relaxation, supports parasympathetic activity, and helps signal the brain that it is safe to fully unwind. Research is exploring how this may support the natural onset of the N3 sleep phase (Slow-Wave Sleep).
Stereo headphones mandatory for binaural beats. Ideal for falling asleep.

0.5–1 HzDeepest unconsciousness – comatose and deepest sleep states
The slowest delta waves below 1 Hz are called Slow Oscillations. They occur in the deepest sleep phases and play a central role in memory consolidation: In conjunction with sleep spindles (12–15 Hz), they "shift" information from the hippocampus to the neocortex – the process by which short-term experiences become long-term memories.
Therapeutically, these extremely low frequencies are rarely used in isolation, as they are associated with a state close to unconsciousness.

Experten-Meinungen
“Delta waves serve as the fundamental reset rhythm of the human body, closely associated with physical recovery, cellular renewal processes, and overall resilience. Further research continues to explore these connections.”
